An elderly great-grandmother allegedly tasered by police during an incident at a Cooma nursing home last week has died, NSW Police have confirmed.
Clare Nowland, 95, was hospitalised in a critical condition after falling and fracturing her skull during the incident with officers at Yallambee Lodge last Wednesday.
Police previously said they had been called to the facility and found Mrs Nowland holding a serrated steak knife before the taser was deployed.
More to come.
