The DIY duo, known on social media as Gypseas On The Road, documented the transformation of their small campervan which they now call home.

Stefano and Sasha once lived in Mexico in a renovated shuttle bus but decided they wanted to downsize to a campervan.

After realising they couldn’t afford a brand new one, they chose a fixer-upper instead and took on the project of transforming it.

Speaking to LastDeals, the couple said: “We knew that we could purchase something cheaper and make it look nice with just a couple of weeks of work and a little bit of money.”

The DIY pair decided to decorate the space with vibrant colours in the kitchen and dining area to make the rooms feel bigger.

They also added green to create “jungle vibes” to their new home on wheels.

Talking on where they shopped for supplies for their latest project, the couple said: “We got most of the supplies from Home Depot, IKEA, Amazon and Shein.

“From Amazon we got a faucet for £55 ($69), a sink for £127 ($160), subway tile backsplash for £25 ($32), gold curtain rods which were £32 ($40) for 3 and waterproof vinyl for the countertop and tabletop priced at £12 ($15).

“From Home Depot we got the paint for £24 ($30), silicone for £8 ($10), gold spray paint for £8 ($10), heat-proof black spray paint for the stovetop for £12 ($15), heat-proof white spray paint for the stovetop which was also £12 ($15) and plumbing fixtures for sink which totalled £20 ($25)”.

They then added that they bagged a bargain at IKEA with a spice rack for just £4 ($5).

But the couple admitted that the entire space was “really transformed” when they implemented their bargain Shein finds.

They found couch covers for £16 ($20) from the online marketplace and said it was the best $20 they spent in the entire renovation.

The entire renovation only cost the DIY couple around £396 ($500) but the pair said it was worth every penny.

Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, added: “The renovation that Stefano and Sasha have done on their camper van kitchen and dining area is truly impressive.

“It’s great to see that they were able to save money by shopping smartly for their supplies, and even found a great deal on cushion covers from SHEIN. This project is a great example of how a little bit of DIY and ingenuity can go a long way in creating a space that feels like home, no matter where you are in the world.”

This comes after an interior whizz revealed a mistake that everyone makes when decorating their home – and how to fix it.

A DIY fan also revealed her easy hack to painting a fence in minutes and without a paintbrush.

And one more DIY fan shared how she was able to transform her bedroom wall for free and without any paint.
