A SCHOOLBOY has been charged with murder after an 18-year-old was knifed to death in Dagenham.

Wazabakana Elenda Jordan Kukabu, 18, died after a machete fight broke out near a tube station on Friday night.

A second man was also taken to hospital with a stab injury but his condition was not believed to be life-threatening.

A 15-year-old has today been charged with the murder, and attempted murder.

He will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on tomorrow.

Police were raced to Dagenham Heathway Underground Station after reports of men armed with machetes.

There they found Jordan fighting for his life with a single stab wound to the chest.

Jordan’s uncle Michel A. Pongo released a photo of him at the weekend.

The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham councillor paid tribute to his nephew, saying: “It was with great sadness that this afternoon I learned that my nephew, Jordan, 18, had been stabbed to death in Dagenham last night.

“His mother is inconsolable.”
