The Formula One Miami Grand Prix returns for the second year in 2023.
Racers speed around Hard Rock Stadium at a South Beach-inspired event that has drawn celebrities from every industry this weekend, including Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, tech mogul Elon Musk, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, and rap superstars A$AP Rocky and Skepta.
“The vibe is pretty, pretty sick so far,” McLaren driver Lando Norris said taking in the electric atmosphere.
The Miami Grand Prix serves as a homecoming race for Logan Sargeant, who grew up in nearby Fort Lauderdale before moving overseas to pursue his racing dream. The Williams rookie is the first driver in the series from the United States since 2015. He joined the big leagues after becoming first American to win a Formula 2 race last year when he saw victory at Silverstone, one of the most storied tracks in the sport.
This is the first of three races in America with the United States Grand Prix in Austin in October and the Las Vegas Grand Prix in November.

South Florida native Logan Sargeant will start at the back of the grid in P20 after struggling in Saturday’s outing. The Williams rookie made it to his first Q2 round of qualifying last week at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
