On tonight’s episode, Romeo and Icy took to the stage to show off their dance routine.
The pair revealed that they first met at a school disco and “started vibing”, with Bruno Tonioli telling them they had an “instant connection”.
The lads from north west London left the judges in hysterics with their comedy lines, before surprising the audience with their face-paced performance.
But the act left the judges and those at home divided.
TV favourite and judge Amanda Holden told them after the performance: “I thought it felt current, energetic and very TikTok to me. I loved it felt, it felt fantastic, well done.”
But ex-Strictly star Bruno did not agree and said it lacked originality.
He delivered the bad news and said: “Everything I saw somehow I’ve seen before. You have to give it your imprint and raise the bar a little bit more.”
While Alesha Dixon said she agreed with Bruno and “wasn’t blown away”.
“I don’t agree with Amanda, I don’t think it’s current. I’ve seen it before and I’ve seen it done better,” she added.
Simon Cowell then delivered his verdict, pausing before telling them: “I loved it.”
He went on: “It was really funny, brilliant friendship, great chemistry. Everything about it was just fun and this is what the show should be a like. A million per cent from me.”
Simon kicked things off and gave the boys a ‘yes’, followed by Amanda.
But Alesha and Bruno admitted it as a ‘no’ this time round.
After some uproar from the audience, Bruno changed his mind and gave the duo their third yes.
Simon concluded: “I really like them,” with Amanda agreeing and saying: “I do too.”
But many viewers were baffled by Simon’s decision and took to Twitter saying he’s “become too soft”.
One wrote: “They were awful Simon FFS.”
Another posted: “Simon’s gone soft, that dance act was terrible.”
A third said: “Wow the judges actually talking proper for once. It wasn’t that great, it was a boring dance that we’ve seen 100 times before.”
“Two young lads doing TikTok dances? For Christ’s sake,” someone else added.
