Leibrock, 35, connected with a perfectly-timed left high kick before following it up with some vicious ground and pound.

It left the referee with no choice but to step in and end the fight, as Leibrock announced herself on the PFL stage.

She said: “First of all, I just want to say my name is Amber Leibrock, I’m from Hayward, California, I represent the Bay Area and I’m here to stay.

“So if you don’t know me, get to know me and remember the name.

“I respect everybody that steps in this cage with me and their art and I know she is a dangerous person on her feet.

“She’s a multi world kickboxing, Muay Thai world champion so I think it did take a minute to find it but when it’s there it’s there and I found it.”

The PFL is MMA’s consists of qualifying and knockout stages, with two regular season bouts and play-offs.

Points are earned per method of victory in the opening two fights with the top four in each weight progressing into the semi-finals.

From there, it is victory-or-go-home culminating in a winner-take-all finale fight where a title belt and $1million cheque lays in wait.

Leibrock – one of the eight featherweight contenders – got off to a perfect start with a maximum six points for her round one KO.
