The Top Gear host, 49, starts swearing when he sees his cake collapse on Sunday night’s dramatic show.
The chaotic scenes are shown in our exclusive sneak-peek clip from Celebrity Bake Off.
Loose Women’s Coleen, 58, is the first to spot something’s wrong after looking at his workstation, asking: “What the hell is that?”
Paddy replies: “That’s nice isn’t it? That’s encouraging. ‘What the hell is that?'”
But he quickly spots something’s wrong and swears – with the word being bleeped out on the show.
He pulls on his oven gloves and goes to see what’s happened to his gingerbread bake, complaining: “The shaft has collapsed. Story of my life.”
Pulling the wreckage out, Paddy adds: “No no no, that’s not good. I don’t know what to do.”
Flinging the pastry up onto the worksurface, he thens tries to look on the bright side.
He said: “Now listen, they’ll never know. Reset. I’m going to make another batch. We do again. We do not get stopped by a ginger biscuit.”
Paddy appears on the show on Sunday night in the fourth episode of the celeb version of the show, which is in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.
The line-up comprises Paddy, Coleen, Inbetweeners actor Joe Thomas and Ted Lasso star Ellie Taylor.
The Great Celebrity Bake Off is on Sundays at 7.40pm on Channel 4.
