The new for 2023 film is available to watch on Amazon Prime and centres around a young girl who visits the remote cabin with her two dads.
Amazon write: “The girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse.
“With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.”
And the movie has some big names too, with Dave Bautista, Rupert Grint, Jonathan Groff and Ben Aldridge all starring in it.
Fans have been left horrified after tuning in, and took to social media to share their thoughts.
One person wrote: “I honestly cannot sleep after watching Knock At The Cabin.”
A second added: “just saw knock at the cabin and I think ima have nightmares tonight.”
A third penned: “Happy for everybody saying they loved Knock at the Cabin but I found the plot- just from the trailer- so disturbing it contributed to a nightmare immediately so no thank you.”
A fourth person wrote: “Knock at the cabin looks like its gonna cause some nightmares.”
The film is based on a book, and the author, Paul Tremblay, says the film’s ending is “way darker” than his book.
He told the LA Times: “The first screenplay was quite different. It was funny. There are things that can be the same.
“But I think it can be a hard story to tell if you change something that might seem minor [and] by the end, because it gets so ramped up and magnified, it’s totally different.”
