The former Made In Chelsea star, 35, and partner Tommy, who are already parents to a son called Alfie, chose the moniker Ada Isabella Blue Andrews – and explained their decision behind it.
Ashley told Hello magazine: “We thought Ada was a really beautiful name and I was also inspired by Ada Lovelace, who was a famous mathematician and scientist.
“She was hailed as inventing computer programming and Tommy works in tech, so we liked that link. Isabella is named after my gran who is an amazing woman, and we chose Blue because Alfie’s middle name is Rivers and I love water references.”
Ashley welcomed Ada via C-section on March 4 weighing 7lb 9oz at London’s St Thomas’s Hospital.
She shared the news with fans earlier this month as she shared an adorable snap of her holding her tiny baby’s hand as she announced “our baby girl is here”
“Cloud nine,” she captioned the snap posted to her 334,000 fans. “Just wanted to let you know that our baby girl is here.
“We are both happy and healthy and we’re all so in love. We’re taking some time to enjoy this bubble and connect as a family of 4.”
Ashley, who rose to fame on Made In Chelsea before becoming a DJ, announced she was pregnant with her second child last September, showing off her ultrasound scans.
The mother-of-two welcomed her first child Alfie back in January 2021, shortly after settling down with Tommy in 2019.
The pair had met ten years prior but only began dating six months before finding out they were expecting their first little one.
