The TV star suffered nasty injuries during the accident and was left covered in blood.
Dan took to Instagram to share pictures of his “mess” of a face this morning admitting he was “glad to be alive”.
He revealed his bloodied swollen face while laid up in an ambulance when he posted a selfie with the NHS staff who were caring for him.
It is understood he was travelling on his bike when he was hit by a car, but he escaped seemingly without major injuries.
The journalist came away without any broken bones and police and ambulance crews were called to the scene.
While he’s since returned to hosting duties for Channel 5’s flagship news programme, he’s been using makeup to hide his bruising.
Now, in a video update he posted online, fans were all saying Dan looks so much better.
Dan was in the woods walking his dogs.
One fan said: “So great to see you back to normal Dan.”
A second said: “You’re looking loads better much love xx.”
“Good to see you’re on the mend. Taking in the good Sheffield fresh air,” said a third.
While a fourth commented: “Glad to see your looking better Dan fresh air what a lifter.”
Walker previously presented BBC Breakfast before he left the station to join Channel 5.
