CHICAGO – Three people, including a teenager and an infant, were killed and three others were injured after a shooting Sunday on a Chicago interstate highway, authorities said.
Nasir Hall, 19, William Smith, 13, and A-mara Hall, 1, died in the shooting, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Smith and Nasir Hall were found dead at the scene of the shooting, according to Illinois State Police. The infant was pronounced dead at the hospital. Three other people were also hospitalized for their injuries.

Six people were in a vehicle on the northbound lanes of the I-57 expressway on the city’s South Side when shots were fired at around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, state police said.
The vehicle left the highway and stopped near an exit ramp after the shooting. The interstate’s northbound lanes were closed in the area for several hours but reopened early Monday morning.
ISP did not provide any additional information about a potential suspect or motive.
There have been 20 other shootings on Illinois expressways so far this year, according to Illinois State Police.

Community activists on Monday offered a $7,000 reward for information that may help police find a suspect, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
“We’ve got to get these baby killers off the street,” activist Andrew Holmes told reporters outside the Chicago Police Department headquarters Monday.
Local pastor Donovan Price told reporters he spent much of his day Monday consoling a mother who lost her 13-year-old son in the “heartbreaking” shooting. Price said the family is in “pure shock” as they try to get more information about what happened and plan a funeral.
