Reddit users took to the platform to comment on the name that they couldn’t quite get behind.

While unique names are on the rise, people still appreciate the simplicity of common monikers.

One name, in particular, has gotten social media users riled up.

And people aren’t afraid to say what’s on their minds.

The name in question is Bugzlen.

Reddit users flooded the comments section of the post which brought the name to attention with criticism.

“This name Bugzme,” one person wrote.

“No. This is abusive. I’m sorry, Bugzlen?!? Why do you hate your child?” another questioned.

“This is part of my problem with these ‘unique’ names.

“Like, way to make your child just the most intensely google-able person in the world.

“I mean, who do you think is more likely to have everything they’ve ever done be instantly connected to them – John Smith, or someone called some sh*t like Bugzlen,” another Reddit user stressed.

Other Reddit users said their piece as well.

“That’s beyond bad.”

“Do people not care about their children?”

“That isn’t a normal person name, that is the name of a bug-type Pokemon gym leader.”

“I am going to vomit. WHO DOES THIS TO A POOR CHILD? b*gzlen. So beyond humiliating and horrendous,” a final person wrote.
