A MAN has appeared in court charged with the rape of a child and the abduction following the disappearance of an 11-year-old girl in the Scottish Borders.
Andrew Miller, who is also known as Amy George, appeared in Selkirk Sheriff Court today.
The 53-year-old was arrested following a 27-hour search for the missing school girl.
The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was discovered at an address on Monday, February 6, after she had been reported missing on Sunday evening, February 4.
