Emma Conway shared her first impressions of pieces from Tu at Sainsbury’s spring collection – and while some were real winners, not all received high praise.
Known online as @brummymummyof2, Emma regularly shares plus-size fashion tips and hauls with her 29,800 followers.
In her latest TikTok reel, Emma was seen trying on the Mono Stripe Half Zip Jumper Dress, priced at £25.
She said: “Welcome to a size 18 try-on.
“First up, a lovely woolly dress, perfect for the school run.”
Over the top, she layered the Stone Longline Belted Gilet, costing £35, which was a hit with her followers.
She continued: “Add a gilet. Great for a dog walk. Everyone has a gilet, do I need a gilet?”
Next the content creator was seen trying on the Khaki Animal Print Pleated Midi Skirt, on sale for £22.
“Sainbury’s has loads of lovely skirts and thought this was super cute.”
Although the dresses lead to mixed emotions, with Emma not loving the fit of the Teal Leopard Print Wrap Midi Dress, £24.
Luckily the Mono Geo Print Crinkle Midi Dress, £18, was a hit.
“Disappointed in the next dress. Wasn’t a fan of how it clung to my B-shaped belly.
“But loved this last frock. Size down. It was superb.”
Fans loved Emma’s honesty, with the video gaining more than 860 likes and 45,700 views.
