Westerman was filmed performing a sex act on a pal’s missus down a darkened alleyway – with the clip being shared widely on Twitter.

And Lauren – who has previously told friends she will never reunite with the rugby star – today told The Sun Online she was living in a nightmare.

Speaking today, the mum-of-three said: “I’ve relived that footage over and over again. It’s something I’ll never be able to get out of my mind, no matter how hard I try.”

The Castleford Tigers loose forward, 33, has since apologised through the Super League club and vowed to “work on my decision-making around alcohol”.

But Lauren, 33, said the “marriage is over”, adding: “There are absolutely no excuses for what he’s done, not just to me but to our children and wider family.”

She said she first became aware of the clip after Joe told her, leaving her feeling “physically ill”.

The mum – who married the rugby star in 2014 – previously revealed her husband has been messaging her to apologise.

For a while, people online claimed it was Lauren in the video and joked about the Westermans being “filthy tramps”.

Fuming Lauren logged back on and wrote: “Can I make this VERY clear that this is NOT me!!!!!!”

She added: “And we have three children, one of whom is almost 15, and she doesn’t need to see things like this all over social media!”

Westerman’s club – who will play their Super League season opener against Hull on Sunday without him – launched an investigation into the video as it battled to limit the damage.

It lasted only a matter of hours and concluded with him paying a “substantial fine” and agreeing to undertake community service to educate young people on the effects of alcohol.

Westerman also apologised in a statement issued via the club – saying: “I have realised that I need to work on my decision-making around alcohol.”
