Brianna Ghey was tragically found dead at Linear Park, Warrington, after a “targeted attack” on Saturday afternoon.
Police had received frantic calls that the schoolgirl was seriously injured and raced to the Culcheth grounds.
But horrifically Brianna, from the Birchwood area of Warrington, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cops launched an investigation on Sunday, and quickly arrested a boy and girl, both 15, on suspicion of murder.
Since then tributes have been flowing for the transgender teen and now vigils have been organised across the country in her memory.
Mourners are expected to gather with candles in hand in both Bristol and Liverpool tonight.
A post on Instagram announced the Bristol gathering, which is set to start at College Green at 6pm.
The post read: “Come along to stand in solidarity with Brianna’s family and honour her. Bring glass jars for candles and warm clothes.
“We’re thinking of Brianna, her family and her friends in this tragic time.”
Grief-stricken Liverpool locals will gather at St George’s Hall an hour later.
A poster shared on Twitter read: “Please join us in showing our respects, lighting candles and being together as a community in response to tragedy.”
Other vigils for the teen have also been planned in the coming days in London and Scotland.
Brianna was popular on social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.
One of the teen’s final posts showed her smiling for the camera – garnering hundreds of tributes from pals in recent days.
However, some friends also claimed the schoolgirl has been bullied “for years”.
Brianna’s family also paid tribute to their “strong and fearless” girl.

“We would like to thank everyone for their kind words and support during this extremely difficult time. We would like to thank the police for their support, and witnesses for helping with the investigation.
“The continuation of respect for privacy is greatly appreciated.”
Brianna’s friends are also raising money to help her family pay for her farewell – which they say should be “pink and colourful to match her personality”.
A GoFundMe page read: “We would like to help the Ghey family who has had their beautiful daughter cruelly taken from them in the most shocking and heartbreaking way.
“Brianna was an outgoing, confident girl. She brought a lot of laughter to those who knew her.”
