I spent £3,500 trying to become a glamour model and have had no success

Occasional Digest - a story for you

DEAR DEIDRE: MY dream is to become a glamour model, and I think I’ve got what it takes.

I love sex, I’m pretty good-looking and have had a breast enlargement and tummy tuck so feel confident when photographed in lingerie.

I have auditioned with different agencies but am getting nowhere and it has cost me thousands of pounds so far.

These companies promise the earth then charge me to audition and I mostly don’t ever hear anything back from them.

I’m a 28-year-old single female.

So far, I’ve spent £3,500 and now have absolutely nothing to show for it.

Every problem gets a personal reply from one of our trained counsellors.

I get lots of attention from men when I am out and always have done.

For the last 12 years, I have thought of nothing but glamour modelling.

Can you give me some advice on how to get my career off the ground?

DEIDRE SAYS: I’m afraid there are many unscrupulous people working in this industry so it is important to do your research thoroughly and carefully.

Talk to others who are already working in this area, for their advice.

This dream is not making you happy, though, so perhaps it’s time to consider another focus.

My support packs, Want To Be A Model and Help For Job Hunters, may help.
