Two teenagers have been charged with murder after a man’s body was found near a boat ramp at Howard, a small town less than four hours north of Brisbane.

Police believe it is the body of a 47-year-old Fraser Coast man who was reported missing on February 10.
The 47-year-old was last seen leaving his home in Toogoom, 20 minutes from Howard, on February 6.
Police found his burnt-out vehicle at Pacific Haven, another nearby rural locality, before launching a search operation using drones, water police, and SES volunteers.
His body was found just before noon on Sunday.
Teenagers charged
A 17-year-old male was taken into custody and charged with murder, arson, and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He was refused bail and will appear before the Hervey Bay Children’s Court.
Police later arrested and charged an 18-year-old man with murder, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, arson, robbery, and deprivation of liberty.
He has been refused bail and will appear in Hervey Bay Magistrates Court today.
