In one of her recent videos, Kaaviya tried on dupes for Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand, Skims.
All of the pieces were from a brand called Pumiey, which can be found on Amazon for a fraction of what Skims costs.
“I lowkey prefer this to the Skims. I have lived in these dresses,” she said.
According to Kaaviya, she bought a slip dress from Pumiey for $38 while a long sleeve dress from Skims would cost about $43.
“They really snatch you in,” she said.
Kaaviya added that the brand has a lot of different colors and silhouettes to play with.
She said that her dresses could be elevated for a fancy look or be used for a more casual fit.
Kaaviya also compared the fabric between the Pumiey dresses and the Skims, saying that Kim’s brand was stretchier but Pumiey was still fine.
“I will say that this material [Pumiey] is gonna suck you in more than the Skims version,” said Kaaviya.
The mock neck bodysuit from Pumiey was described as “sophisticated” by Kaaviya, who described the material as buttery and identical to the Skims.
“I feel like an Indian Kim Kardashian,” she joked.
She added that the material sucked her body in so much that she didn’t have to wear a bra, despite being “heavy-chested.”
“I feel like my style is elevated with these bodysuits.”
Kaaviya said the Pumiey bodysuits are made of a special “C160 fabric,” which is described as 80 percent polyamide and 20 percent elastane for a butter-soft, “second skin” feeling.
“They really are so simple and they kind of just accentuate the feminine curves.”
