OLD-FASHIONED ideas around “beach bodies” are still pervasive, but modern-day hotties simply don’t have time for them.
One woman shared her own bikini photos to challenge regressive body standards, and fans fell in love right away.
In a TikTok video, Dana Cuccurullo (@dcuccss) took her turn participating in a body-positive trend.
She shared a series of beachy snaps with an important message.
Smiling into the camera, Cuccurullo showed off her sunkissed skin while imparting the crucial message to her followers.
“Proof you don’t need to be a size 0 to take hot bikini pics,” she wrote in the caption.
Then, a brief montage offered visual evidence of her claims.
In three photos, Cuccurullo posed in a classic black bikini and a pink wrap cover-up against the railing of a boat.
Smiling in the sea air, Cuccurullo kept her sunglasses perched atop her head.
In the background, palm trees, smooth sand, and bright turquoise water completed the tropical tableau.
The content creator doubled down in the video’s description. “This is such a fact,” Cuccurullo wrote.
Commenters provided nearly-unanimous support for her thesis. “You’re stunning,” wrote an admirer.
“You’re amazing, girl,” wrote another.
“Thank you, means a lot,” Cuccurullo responded.
There were scant challenges to Cuccurullo’s body positivity, but one critic did pipe up.
“Who said it was hot?” the anonymous hater asked.
The answer: at least a dozen commenters.
“You’re hot as hell,” wrote one superfan. “Who wouldn’t date you?”
“You’re very beautiful and sexy,” a different viewer chimed in.
Cuccurullo didn’t suffer any loss of confidence from the single troll among her supporters.
“That’s all I gotta say,” she wrote in a comment.
