She took to her Home Motivation account on TikTok to reveal she’d seen the hack on someone else’s page, and wanted to give it a try herself.

“Let me test this on my tap cleaning,” she wrote.
She then took a piece of baking paper, scrunched it up into a ball and used to to rub the surface of the tap.
In seconds, the scum had gone and the tap was sparkling clean once again.
“The result is amazing, loved it,” she added.
“girl the way I ran to my pantry to get baking paper,” one person commented on the video.
“This is awesome,” another added.
“Omg perfect,” a third praised.
But others weren’t quite as convinced.
“One creator told everyone to get a black light to determine if you are cleaning/disinfecting or just shining things,” one comment read.
“Wish I never bought one.”
To which the woman hit back: “Everyone knows that a tap must be disinfected.
“I don’t need to show this off.
“I only show a hack to get a skinned tap.”
