Fans donate to previous fundraiser
In 2020, Damar Hamlin organized a Christmas toy drive for the Chasing M’s Foundation.
Fans are now donating to Hamlin’s GoFundMe in support of the player.
“Thank you so much for supporting me on and off the field,” Hamlin wrote on the GoFundMe.
“I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with you to help make the holiday season a little brighter for the kids in our community.”
The original goal of the fundraiser was $2,500. In the past hour, it’s risen to over $600,000.
