Rapper Theophilus London has been reported missing by his family, according to a statement released Wednesday by Secretly, a music label that has worked with London.
“Over the last few weeks, friends and family … have been working together to piece together his whereabouts,” the family’s statement read. The 35-year-old’s family and friends believe someone last spoke to the musician in July in Los Angeles, they added.
On Tuesday, some of London’s relatives traveled to Los Angeles to file a missing persons report with the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officer Annie Moran, an LAPD spokesperson, confirmed Wednesday that a report for London had been taken. A department news release said London was last seen in the Skid Row area on Oct. 15, and his family had lost complete contact with him.
The family is seeking the public’s assistance in finding London, who is 6-foot-2, weighs 175 pounds and has dark brown eyes. In their statement, London’s family urged the public to reach out to LAPD or the musician’s cousin Mikhail Noel via Instagram (@iamdjkellz).
London posted prolifically on Instagram, but his last posts also came in July.
London’s father, Larry Moses London, also included a plea in the statement released Wednesday.
“Theo, your Dad loves you, son,” his message reads. “We miss you. And all your friends and relatives are searching for you. Wherever you are send us some signal. No matter what we will come get you son.”

London was born in Trinidad and Tobago but raised largely in Brooklyn, New York.
Over the past decade, London has released three studio albums, “Lovers Holiday” (2011), “Vibes” (2014) and “Bebey” (2020). He has worked with Tame Impala, Ellie Goulding, Travis Scott, Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, Big Boi and more.
In 2016, London was Grammy-nominated for best rap song and rap performance for Ye’s 2015 single “All Day,” in which London was a featured performer along with Paul McCartney and Allan Kingdom.
London has frequently collaborated with Ye, who produced and guested on “Vibes.” London would often post updates on Ye’s “Donda” and “Donda 2” on Instagram, even saying that he was “promoted to tackle media duties” on Ye’s behalf for the month of February.
London recently was a featured artist on Young Franco’s “Get Your Money,” released this past September — the month before he was last seen.
