The Love Island star – who is expecting her first baby – revealed they Billy would miss out on the big moment, and that she would “have his mum” ready at her bedside.
Shaughna, 28, recently revealed that she would continue to keep her beau’s identity hidden as it was “his choice”.
However, the star has opened up about some aspects of their life together – including their plans for her birth.
She told her fans that Billy would not be present at the birth, because he is “squeamish around blood”.
Shaughna wrote in her OK! magazine column: “I want my mum and Billy to be my birthing partners, but I think my boyfriend may have a difficult time.
“He’s just going to want to know when the baby’s here rather than actually being in the delivery room with me.
He’s one of those people who are actually squeamish around blood. There have been times before where I’ve had surgery and needed help, but he just couldn’t do it.”
“‘ll probably have his mum somewhere waiting just in case he goes down,” she joked.
It comes after Shaughna revealed she wouldn’t be naming her baby after her late dad – but her boyfriend instead.
While fans were certain she would opt to name her baby after her late dad Edward, she has now confirmed otherwise.
Shaughna revealed the heartbreaking reason why she would struggle to call her baby “Eddie”, despite considering it.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the star revealed her name choices as part of a tell-all fan Q&A.
“Do you have baby’s name sorted already?” one fan asked, to which Shaughna replied: “Baby will be named after his dad if it’s a boy, so it will be Billy.
“We’re keeping the girl’s name a secret but it’s not a sentimental name, just a name we both love.”
