The campaign was started to help keep the LGBTQ+ community connected during lockdown, the goal being to help combat the loneliness felt within the community.

Last year, celebrities such as Beanie Feldstein and Azure Antoinette wrote letters for the campaign.

The annual campaign was launched in LGBTQ+ History Month in 2021, and this year the initiative is also is aligning with Black History Month for October 2022.

In this year’s campaign, four LGBTQ+ celebrities have been asked to write a love letter to the community, the first announced being Dr Ranj, known best for ITV’s This Morning and Strictly Come Dancing.

The letters will be personalised and sent out to subscribers throughout the month of October, alongside a bespoke greeting card crafted from the celebrities’ words from BeKnown Inc.

Buying the Connecting the Letters package supports the work House Of Pride are doing for LGBTQ+ History Month (US), and Black History Month (UK) and the work of their partners GAY TIMES Amplifund, Stonewall Housing, BeKnown, as well as contributing to our Queer People of Colour Creative Fund.
