A BEAUTY writer has shared her review of a viral $20 lash kit and a hack for how to easily apply them.

Lash extensions are trendy, and some content creators have been sharing their tips to manipulate their falsies.

Under the #falscara hashtag, TikTok creators have been sharing how their followers can achieve an ideal look when using the individual clusters of fake lashes.

Kayla Bickham, who reported for Insider, searched the #falscara trend on TikTok and discovered a $20 kit that closely resembled the lashes she was paying a professional for.

The KISS Falscara Lengthening Lash Starter Kit has gained a good amount of attention on various social media platforms.

The kit contains individual lash clusters of varying lengths.

Bickham said her lashes are short, which has caused issues over the years.

Individual lash extensions are more difficult for her because the fake lashes don’t easily attach to her natural lashes.

So when she received the KISS Falscara kit, she used a generous amount of their Falscara Eyelash Bond & Seal glue.

Bickham was surprised to discover how natural looking the falsies were.

She said that the falsies are designed to be applied underneath natural lashes, instead of above on the lash line.

And while it takes time to become accustomed to the application of the lashes, Bickham suggests using both hands to help the lashes sit properly on the eye.

“I recommend using one hand to press the top lashes upward onto the eyelid so the waterline is exposed,” she wrote.

“That way you can sit the lashes exactly where you need them.”

She also recommends going over the lashes with the bond glue for good measure.

While it took her previous lash technician multiple appointments to find the right fit and formula to achieve her ideal look, Bickham said “it took me one try to customize the look to my liking” when using the kit.

Bickham also said that while a Falscara Remover can be purchased separately from the kit, micellar water is also an effective option for lash removal.

“There’s nothing that has worked faster or better at breaking down stubborn sticky spots on my lashes,” she wrote in the Insider article.
