The upcoming Amazon Prime event will see discounts on own-brand devices and services as well as price drops on Apple AirPods and Samsung Galaxy phones.

Amazon’s Prime Day is next month

If you have an Amazon Prime account then make sure you put the dates July 12 and 13 on your calendar.

As that’s when the firm will drastically slash prices on a vast array of services and products, ranging from own-brand gadgets to Apple AirPods and Samsung Galaxy phones.

Prime Day traditionally sees the online retailer offering hefty savings, with items such as the Fire TV Stick, the Echo, Kindle and Fire Tablets often getting the biggest discounts.

And early birds are also in for a treat, with Amazon already stating its tablets, smart speakers and Ring Home Security devices will be reduced by as much as 60 per cent from July 8.

Elsewhere, customers can also save 60 per cent on movies and TV shows to rent or buy via Prime Video, including Spider-Man: No Way Home, Last Night in Soho, 9-1-1: Season 4 and Yellowstone: Season 2.

And if that isn’t enough, Prime members will be able to download more than 30 free games from the platform’s gaming service, with titles including Star Wars Jedi Academy, Mass Effect Legendary Edition – which includes the award-winning Mass Effect trilogy – GRID Legends, and Need for Speed Heat.

There will also be plenty more discounts on products announced nearer the time.

Membership includes free delivery on many products, as well as access to movies and music via Prime Video and Prime Music.
